Classification, value and origin

Most customs disputes start with three questions: what the goods are, what they are worth and where they come from. We review tariff classification, customs value and proof of origin before the declaration is filed, while correcting course is still cheap.

Special regimes and transit

Inward and outward processing, transit and TIR operations each carry their own guarantees, deadlines and liabilities. We set them up correctly and follow them through, so that an unclosed procedure does not turn into a duty claim.

When a penalty arrives

If the customs authority issues a penalty or an additional assessment, we review the decision, gather the evidence and file the objection or court action within the statutory time limits.

Example scenario

After a machinery part is reclassified at import, the importer receives an additional duty assessment. The tariff position is reviewed, technical documents are gathered and an objection is filed within the statutory period.
