ACA Legal Partnership is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about your data at [email protected].
What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number, company and the message you write, together with the country and subject you select, the language of the page and the address of the page from which the form was sent. Please do not include sensitive personal data, such as health or criminal-record information, in your message.
Why we use it
We use this data only to answer your enquiry, to assess whether we can take on the matter and, where needed, to check for conflicts of interest. The legal bases are taking steps at your request before a possible engagement and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (KVKK Article 5(2)(c) and (f); GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Who sees it
Your enquiry is read by the members of our team who handle the country and subject concerned, who may be located in Türkiye, Iran or Ethiopia. Where this involves a transfer abroad, we make it only on a ground permitted by the applicable law. Our hosting and email providers process the data on our behalf. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and to assess a possible engagement. If no engagement follows, we delete it within one year at the latest, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. If you instruct us, the data becomes part of the client file and is kept for the periods required by professional rules.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, including Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the GDPR, you may ask whether we process your data, obtain a copy of it, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing, and ask for its processing to be restricted or for the data to be transferred to you. You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority, which in Türkiye is the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu).
