Three countries, one team, one file. ## Three countries, one team Trade between Türkiye, Iran and Ethiopia passes through three legal systems, three languages and three sets of customs rules. When each stage is handled by a different adviser, the gaps between them become the real risk. ACA Legal Partnership exists so that one team carries the same file from the first draft of the contract to the enforcement of the final decision. ## What we do We advise importers, exporters, logistics companies and insurers on international trade contracts, customs, cargo insurance, arbitration and the other legal disputes that arise along the way. For trade involving Iran, sanctions and export-control compliance is part of the service from the start. ## How we work Every matter begins with a careful reading of the documents and the deadlines. At the end of each one we agree on the next step and its likely cost before anything is spent. 1. 1 ### Initial meeting and file review We review the contract, correspondence, bill of lading, policy and other documents, and record every deadline and limitation period. 2. 2 ### Legal position and risk report We set out in writing the governing law, the competent court or arbitration clause, and the strengths and weaknesses of your position. 3. 3 ### Strategy Negotiation, mediation or arbitration. We choose the right route together, with the future of the commercial relationship in mind. 4. 4 ### Running the matter Pleadings, evidence and witness preparation, interim measures where needed, and hearings, all handled by one team. 5. 5 ### Award, judgment and enforcement We pursue recognition and enforcement of the arbitral award or court judgment in the country where the other side holds its assets.
